hello and welcome to McCain Collective, my name is Caroline Sickeler, and this site is truly an overflow of my heart. I am so glad you are here!

there are two people that drive the heart behind this business. the first being my daughter, Meredith McCain, who I pray one day will find escape in needlepoint like so many of the women before her. the second is my grandmother, Lala, who shared her passion for needlepoint with me over a decade ago, she is the reason I am here pursuing this dream…let me tell you a bit more about her.

Lala has dedicated her life to this art form, stitching intricate stockings for more than one hundred family members and dear friends (and she’s still going!!). if stitching were a love language, it would be hers! Lala and I have always been exceptionally close, so it was no surprise when she pulled me aside over ten years ago and began teaching me to stitch alongside her. while my 3 completed stockings don’t hold a candle to her many years worth of gifts, it’s one of my favorite parts of life to share this passion with her.

ten years after my initiation into the needlepoint club, and three months after the birth of my daughter, McCain Collective was born. needlepoint is a longstanding art form that has recently begun growing in popularity, and it’s one of my greatest joys to share my love of needlepointing.

every canvas you find on this site has been designed and hand-painted by me and I truly hope this is a place where you will grow your skills and find joy in every stitch!
